Hi Eddie,
I clicked on your profile and when I couldn't find much did a Google seacrh on your name - like ya do!
This turned up and I was a bit chaffed to see you had some info on your site about Aboriginal Art.
"Eddie moved to Newbiggin-by-the-sea in 2003 from Oxfordshire. he set up a suuccessful community arts group - Newbiggin Arts Forum - www.newbigginartsforum.org Eddie has a wide interest in the arts and enjoys music, painting, theatre & crafts."

I am in Australia, as you would have worked out, and I am teaching a unit about Aboriginal Art right now. This weekend I will be working out some articles and posting them - so that sure is serendippity.

"Sick" means the same thing here. You are right about local symbolism. As a mural artist I have to be sure I get it right before painting something in a communal place or there can be havoc.

I have notice you run community workshops - will you be writing about them here?

Your website is interesting,
Jo
